Bank Nursery Practitioner

Zero Hours – Flexible Contract.

Located at The Old Station Nursery, Warwick, Heathcote Primary School, Vickers Way, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 7AP.

Pay: £13.06–£13.21 per hour, plus accrued holiday pay.

Working Hours: Zero-hour contract, flexible shifts available Monday–Friday between 8am–6pm.

Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and experience working in a childcare setting.

Responsibilities

As a valued member of our team, you’ll:

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.

About the Nursery

The Old Station Nursery Warwick is located within the grounds of Heathcote Primary School, offering a nurturing environment where children can truly flourish. We are situated just off the A452 in Warwick, on Vickers Way. Parking is available on site. The nursery operates in a single room and also offers a Before and After School club in a separate room at the school.
