TLC Care are looking for an experienced Care Services Manager whose role is to assist the Home Manager in supervising the day-to-day care needs of residents, ensuring excellence in clinical practice and personal care provision. When the Manager is away from the Home the Care Services Manager will take responsibility for the day to day running of the Care Home ensuring that all Company policies and procedures and legal requirements are adhered to. The role will include regular auditing and the training and development of care team members, as well as maintaining excellent relationships with residents, relatives and visitors to the home.
Other duties will include:
1. Carrying out risk assessments and risk management
2. Working with GPs and other external healthcare professionals to ensure residents care needs are met
3. Recruitment and selection of Nurses and care team members
4. Appraisals, supervision and support for Nurses and care team members
5. Care Home budget management

Requirements
14. Minimum NVQ Level 4 in care management
15. Willingness to strive for ‘good practice’ and to achieve and maintain flag ship status within the Home
16. Ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel to a good standard
17. Previous Care Home management/supervisory experience
18. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
19. Able to work individually or part of a team
20. Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group
21. Satisfactory DBS checks
22. Good written and communication skills including fluent English
23. Evidence of legal eligibility to work in the UK
24. Good time management and organisational skills
25. Experience of financial management of Care Home
