Join a Leading Solar Design & Installation Business as a Commercial Electrician
We’re partnering with one of the UK’s top Solar Design & Installation businesses, and they’re seeking a skilled and qualified Commercial Electrician to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions for commercial clients.
They are ideally looking for people in the Midlands & the South.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Install, test, and commission commercial solar systems or LED lighting.
* Working on rooftop Solar projects ranging from 100kw to MW+.
* Carry out electrical work in line with industry regulations and standards (BS7671).
* Conduct periodic inspections and testing of existing installations.
* Fault-find, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure all work is completed on time and meets specifications.
What They’re Looking For:
* Fully Qualified Electrician: NVQ Level 3, AM2, 2391, or equivalent qualifications are required.
* JIB Gold Card is essential.
* Proven experience in commercial solar installations is required.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to work away from home occasionally; however, they aim to keep installation teams as regional as possible.
