About Our Client
Our client is an SME with ambitious growth plans in the short to medium term. As a result of this, they have created a new role for a Head of FP&A to support the Finance Director
Job Description
The Head of FP&A will be responsible for;
3. Deliver high quality insights that drive growth and profitability
4. Advanced financial modelling
5. Partner with operational and commercial leaders
6. Develop pricing models and strategies which drive and support commercial decision making
7. Create and set budget templates
8. Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to review, discuss and set departmental budgets in line with our overall financial model and goals
9. Ongoing forecasting and re-forecasting during the financial year
10. Analyse commercial trading and identify trends and patterns
11. Cash flow forecasting and planning
12. Create Board Packs
13. Using BI/MI tools, including Datarails
14. Regular financial reporting
15. Work closely with the Group Finance Manager, Group Finance Assistant & Group Payroll Manager
16. Ensure Datarails and other systems are updated and maintained
17. Ensure compliance in terms of GDPR and when dealing with bank procedures and processes
18. General finance related administration
The Successful Applicant
A successful FP&A Manager should have:
19. A strong background in accounting or finance with an accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
20. Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools.
21. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
22. Experience in preparing and presenting financial reports to stakeholders.
23. A solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.
24. The ability to work collaboratively across departments.
25. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
