An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join our CAMHS Service. The post holder will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Child and Adolescent Continuing Care Team, assisting clinical staff, communicating with families and children who are patients of the Child & Adolescent Learning Disability Service and Continuing Care Service.
The post holder must possess excellent interpersonal skills and resources to respond appropriately to enquiries from parents, carers, and other professionals. An awareness of Child Protection safeguards and the ability to escalate concerns as necessary, as well as data inputting to national databases, are required.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will communicate effectively with parents of children and young people known to the service, support families with their enquiries, and handle appointment letters and reports. They will liaise with a wide range of professionals and multi-agency teams, maintaining a professional manner at all times. The ability to prioritize urgent responses without constant supervision is essential.
