About Our Client

Our mission is to support individuals to live independently in their own homes, delivering care with compassion, dignity, and respect.We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our Swindon service and help maintain exceptional standards of care within the community.

Job Description

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, compliance, and development of the home care service. You will oversee daily operations, manage and support the care team, ensure regulatory compliance, and build strong working relationships with clients, families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals.This is a rewarding and influential position offering both operational responsibility and the opportunity to shape future growth.Key Responsibilities

3. Manage the day‑to‑day running of the home care service
4. Lead, motivate, and support a team of care staff
5. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, policies, and procedures
6. Oversee recruitment, rotas, and staff performance
7. Monitor care plans, risk assessments, and client wellbeing
8. Maintain accurate documentation, audits, and reports
9. Participate in the on‑call rota for out‑of‑hours support
10. Work closely with local authorities and healthcare partners
11. Manage budgets, invoicing, and operational performance
12. Identify opportunities for service improvement and development

The Successful Applicant

Essential Requirements

13. Experience as a Registered Manager (or similar leadership role) in domiciliary care
14. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
15. Strong understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding
16. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
17. Flexibility to support occasional weekend or emergency cover
18. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable

19. Experience supporting individuals with dementia, complex needs, learning disabilities, or mental health conditions
20. Understanding of local authority commissioning and care contracts
