This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rugby as a Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant, providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder who is working within the EYFS curriculum. You'll play a vital role in helping this pupil engage in learning, communication and social interaction adapting EYFS-based activities, using structured routines and employing visual or sensory strategies to promote progress and confidence. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo, you'll help create a calm, nurturing space where learning feels meaningful, accessible, and fun. Key Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD, adapting EYFS curriculum activities to meet individual learning needs. Use structured routines, visual timetables, and communication supports (PECS, Makaton, symbols) to build understanding and engagement.
