Job Title: Machine Operator Department: Manufacturing Location: Andover Contract Type: 12-Week Temp to Perm Pay: £13.00 per hour (subject to relevant experience - grading structure applies) About the Role We are currently looking for a Machine Operator (Secondary Operations) to join our Manufacturing team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a machining or manufacturing environment to join a growing business and work towards a permanent role. You'll be responsible for operating a range of equipment to process and finish both printed and non-printed products, ensuring high quality and efficiency at every stage of production. Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:14 PM Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM Total: 38.5 hours per week Flexibility for additional hours may be required, in line with Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines. Key Responsibilities Operate various machines including: Die Cutting Platen Press Machines Laminating Machine Punch Press Forming Machine Embossing Machine Weidemann (Turret Press) Use measuring equipment such as verniers and height gauges to ensure accuracy. Follow job-specific procedures and engineering drawings in line with company policies. Work cross-functionally with departments including Assembly and Print. Maintain high safety and quality standards throughout the production process. About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment (preferred). Good numeracy, literacy, and basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and concentration. Ability to problem solve and follow production schedules accurately. A flexible and proactive attitude, with a team-first mindset. What We Offer £13.00 per hour for candidates with relevant experience (grading structure applies).
