£34.00 per hour (Umbrella) | 3-6 months ongoing | ASAP - 4 weeks start
Hunter Gatherer Social Care is looking for an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join a Fostering Support Team in East Essex. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support foster carers and ensure the best outcomes for children in care while working within a collaborative and well-structured team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing an average caseload of 15 cases, providing supervision and support to foster carers.
Undertaking duty work in the office approximately three days per month.
Attending onsite team meetings every other week to collaborate with colleagues.
Working a minimum of two days per week, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration.
Strong experience within fostering services.
Ability to manage a part-time caseload effectively.
Must be a driver with access to a vehicle.
18.5 hours per week (part-time)
3-6 months ongoing contract
Hybrid working – minimum two days per week, with three office-based duty days per month and team meetings every other week.
