Job Description
I'm working with a well-established company in Kettering who are looking for a Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact in a supportive, collaborative environment.
This role is initially on a 6 month contract, with the potential to go permanent at the end of this period.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Leading the monthly management accounts process and reporting to the board
* Managing budgets and forecasting across multiple departments
* Overseeing the finance team and supporting their development
* Driving process improvements and system efficiency's
* Working closely with department heads on financial planning and analysis
* Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and company policies
* Supporting the year-end audit process
What You'll Need:
* Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
* Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting
* Previous experience managing a small finance team
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
* Excellent communication skills - you'll be presenting to senior stakeholders
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
