Our player base is active, highly engaged, and has a significant demand for quality coaching, particularly in one-to-one individual lessons.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled, and experienced Tennis Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering our robust coaching program, managing a diverse schedule of group lessons, and capitalizing on the centre's strong demand for private coaching sessions.
This role requires a coach who can adapt their teaching style to various age groups and skill levels, motivate players, and foster a positive, high-energy learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching and Program Delivery
* Deliver a diverse range of group coaching sessions catering to all ages and stages of development, including:
* Mini Tennis (Red, Orange, Green Ball)
* Junior development squads and performance training
* Adult beginner, intermediate, and advanced groups
* Actively manage and grow a substantial individual coaching base, leveraging the high demand for private lessons within the centre's player community.
* Design, plan, and execute high-quality, structured lessons that align with the centre's coaching philosophy and player progression pathways.
* Provide ongoing feedback and player assessment to help individuals set and achieve their tennis goals.
* Assist in the planning and execution of club tournaments, holiday camps, and tennis events.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a recognized LTA Coaching Qualification (minimum Level 2 or equivalent).
* Current and clear Enhanced DBS Check and up-to-date Safeguarding and First Aid Certificates.
* LTA Accreditation (or have everything in place to organise this before starting).
* Proven experience in successfully coaching a wide range of ages and abilities, including managing large group sessions.
* Demonstrable track record of building and maintaining a successful private coaching client base.

* Exceptional on-court communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of handling a busy and varied schedule.
* Highly motivated, reliable, and punctual.
* A genuine passion for tennis development and a player-centered approach to coaching.
* Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet program needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £20.00-£32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
