About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join our team on a major substation project in Suffolk. This role will involve overseeing works related to:
* Car park and access roads
* Infrastructure and utilities
* Bases for pylons
* Fencing and associated civil works
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate site activities to ensure project delivery on time and within budget
* Supervise drainage, utilities diversions, and earthworks
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Provide technical support and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Senior Site Engineer or Section Engineer on major infrastructure projects
* Strong knowledge of drainage, utilities diversions, and earthworks
* Experience in the energy sector is advantageous but not essential
* Will consider a Site Engineer ready to step up, provided they have sufficient experience
