Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual in primary education to join our team. As an After-School Cookery Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives by equipping them with essential life skills. This is a rewarding position for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy working with children.
Duties
* Communicate effectively with our Little Chefs to understand their learning needs and goals
* Inspire and engage with our children
* Collaborate with parents, carers and teachers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning
Requirements
* Enhanced DBS or willing to acquire one & registered with annual update service
* Willing to meet training standards in Safeguarding, First Aid and Food Hygiene Level 2
* Previous experience in tutoring / teaching or managing groups of primary aged children
* Strong communication skills to demonstrate cookery techniques effectively
* Ability to connect with children on an individual level and create a supportive learning environment
* The ability to positively manage the behaviour of a large group of young children
* Passion for education, a keen interest in cooking and baking and a genuine desire to inspire young children
* Must have a driver\'s license and use of a car. Involves travelling to different schools on allocated club days with equipment and ingredients.
