The Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing high-quality care by administering medication and treatments safely. Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, and resident care, aligned with Sunrise Senior Living's mission to enhance the quality of life for seniors, in compliance with applicable laws, standards, and policies.

* Medication Administration: Administer medications safely, document accurately, and maintain confidentiality. Assist with medication updates, ensure timely medication passing, restock supplies, and help residents maintain independence with dignity.
* Resident Care Communications: Report concerns, participate in care planning, and attend team meetings.
* Risk Management and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, practice infection control, report hazards and incidents, and handle hazardous materials properly.
* Training and Team Contribution: Engage actively with team goals, participate in training, and attend meetings to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, maintain necessary certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid), be at least 18 years old, and ideally have experience with seniors. Skills in decision-making, communication, and calmness under pressure are essential. For those driving Sunrise vehicles, understanding safety protocols is required.
