Our client, a reputable commercial vehicle workshop based in Preston, is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their busy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their career within a well-established business that values quality workmanship and employee satisfaction.
Benefits:
1. Competitive basic salary of £50,000 per annum
2. Overtime paid at time and a half after 45 hours
3. Salary rate between £18 and £21 per hour depending on experience
4. Working hours Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Duties:
6. Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and service work on heavy goods vehicles
7. Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer's standards and specifications
8. Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out
9. Adhere to health and safety policies at all times
10. Assist in the ongoing maintenance of the workshop and tools
11. Provide excellent customer service and technical support when required
Individual specification:
12. Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
13. Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of heavy vehicles
14. Full UK driving licence
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
16. Good time management skills and attention to detail
17. Recognised qualification in HGV or vehicle maintenance
