We're looking for a reliable Fitters Mate to join our team and support the sprinkler installation team. This is a hands-on role that requires reliability, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
What You'll Be Doing
* Support Fitters with installing sprinkler systems – including pipework, supports, heads, and valves
* Help gather and organise tools, materials, and fixings ahead of tasks
* Keep the work area clean, safe, and well organised
* Carry out basic tasks like cutting and prepping pipework under supervision
* Follow clear instructions from Fitters, Senior Fitters, and Foremen
* Assist with unloading deliveries and storing materials correctly
* Follow site safety procedures, wear correct PPE, and follow RAMS
* Report any hazards or issues to the Fitter or site supervisor promptly
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in a construction or mechanical services environment (Desirable but not essential).
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
* Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
* Full UK Driving licence is essential
