About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning styles and EHCP requirements.
* Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have faced previous barriers to learning.
* Work closely with a strong support team—including behaviour mentors, teaching assistants, and therapy staff—to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
* Implement strategies that promote resilience, self-confidence, and emotional regulation.
* Track progress, set personalised targets, and celebrate every success—no matter how big or small.
* Encourage positive behaviour and develop pupils’ social and communication skills through structured routines and restorative approaches.
What We’re Looking For

* A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience in SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision.
* Compassionate, calm, and resilient, with a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners.
* Creative in your teaching approach and confident differentiating learning to meet diverse needs.
* Skilled in behaviour management, de-escalation, and relationship-focused teaching strategies.
