Scope of the role
FFE is seeking a hands-on Finance Business Partner with proven experience working alongside different departments, providing financial information and commercial insights to various stakeholders. The Finance Business Partner will be a trusted advisor within the business, facilitating high-quality decision making that helps FFE achieve its financial and strategic objectives.

* Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Partner proactively with team members in other departments to drive business initiatives that support FFE's long-term financial and strategic goals while managing short-term performance.
2. Manage key monthly finance forecasting processes including Sales, R&D project spend, Cost of Goods, and Overheads.
3. Lead annual budgeting and strategic financial planning with Executive Board and Senior Leadership Team.
4. Monitor and optimize working capital, collaborating with Operations to manage inventory balances effectively.
5. Review commercial performance regularly and provide insights to leadership and colleagues to inform decision-making.
6. Work with Data Analysts to create dashboards and analytical tools for real-time reporting and analytics; advocate for data integrity across the organization.
7. Present insights and recommendations through reports and presentations.
8. Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to evaluate opportunities and risks.
9. Contribute to improving business processes and controls, championing positive change.
10. Assist in digitizing finance operations and collaborate on month-end close activities ensuring compliance with standards and deadlines.
11. Participate in ad-hoc projects for personal development and organizational improvement.
Skills & Experience
* Recognized professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA). A graduate degree is preferred but not required.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a critical thinking mindset.
* Ability to understand the broader business implications and see the bigger picture.
* Experience with metrics-driven financial planning and analysis.
* Minimum of 3 years of business partnering experience, preferably in manufacturing.
* Proven skills in driving collaboration, maintaining financial rigor, and establishing best practices.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage credibly at all levels and present findings effectively.
* Ability to explain financial concepts clearly and deliver actionable insights to non-finance colleagues.
