Your New Role As a Senior Estimator, you will serve as a technical cornerstone of the pre-construction team. Reporting directly to ownership, you will transition beyond simple bidding into a strategic leadership position. You will oversee the lifecycle ofplex heavy civil and underground utility tenders, from initial "go/no-go" analysis to value engineering and final submission. A keyponent of this role is the mentorship of junior staff and the refinement of internal estimating protocols to ensure the firm remainspetitive and profitable.
What You'll Need to Succeed
1. Proven Tenure: At least 7+ years of experience in civil construction, specifically focusing on site development, earthworks, and underground infrastructure.
2. Technical Proficiency: Mastery of construction drawings and specifications, with the ability to perform high-level digital terrain modeling and quantity take-offs (i.e., HeavyBid, Bid2Win, other).
3. Leadership DNA: A natural ability to mentor emerging talent and a professional, client-facing presence for high-stakes negotiations.
4. Strategic Mindset: Deep knowledge of regional construction standards and the ability to identify both risks and opportunities withinplex bid documents.
