About you
This position would suit a proactive and positive individual looking to join a friendly and supportive team. CPD is actively encouraged, giving you opportunities to develop professionally while being part of a practice that values both its staff and clients. Applicants should ideally be RCVS registered, though soon to qualify veterinary nurse students are encouraged to apply.
The role
The role involves preparing patients for surgical procedures, assisting in the operating theatre, and providing post-operative care and guidance to owners. You will also educate clients on nutrition, vaccinations, and general animal care, administer treatments, support in animal restraint, and ensure that surgical theatres and consult areas are maintained to the highest hygiene standards.
The rota
Full time position. 5 day working week, with one 4 day week every 5 weeks. OOH rota.
