Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced CNC Miller (Setter) to work for a High Tech organisation in Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Role: CNC Miller (Setter)
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8am - 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Miller (Setter):
1. CNC Machining, and setting
2. Operation of 3,4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines.
3. Performing CMM inspection and production of inspection reports when required.
4. Using initiative to improve quality/throughput etc.
5. Working to scheduled lists.
6. Operate within a 5’s manufacturing environment and to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality standards.
About you:
7. Experience of working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances
8. Thorough experience of multi axis CNC machining
9. Use of inspection tools and CMM desirable.
10. Thorough experience of reading & interpreting component drawings and instructions
11. Working to high quality standards
