We are currently supporting a global client of ours in their search for an SAP Data Migration Lead Consultant to support an S/4HANA rollout programme.
Start: September 2024
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Remote (10% travel to DACH Rollout sites)
Language: English speaking
The primary role and accountability of the Data Migration Lead is to improve and execute the end-to-end SAP and MES Data Migration Strategy for the assigned to project.
Role/Responsibilities;
1. Improve, maintain and execute the SAP and MES Data migration strategy.
2. In conjunction with the Data Migration Manager, document the SAP and MES Data entity model in conjunction with the SAP and MES functional teams.
3. In conjunction with the Data Migration Manager, design, develop and coordinate the integrity of the Data Migration and its environments for the global template.
4. Define the scope of data migration objects for the assigned to roll-our project and define the migration strategy for every data migration object in the scope.
5. Manage and lead the team of Data Migration Experts for the assigned to project.
6. Work with the functional and business teams to execute the Data Migration Strategy.
7. Provide weekly status reporting about Data Migration activities for the assigned to project.
8. Design, develop, plan and monitor the execution of an agreed set of Data Migration Test cycles in accordance with the agreed ERP deployment testing and DM strategies.
9. Design, develop and maintain an agreed set of Data Migration test scripts in accordance with the agreed ERP test cycles.
10. Coordinate the execution of data test scripts.
