Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for an Early Engagement Program Lead Coach (Girls) located in Leicester, with some work from home acceptable. The Lead Coach will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching sessions, developing training programs, and engaging with young female cricketers. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing coaching sessions, monitoring player progress, providing feedback, and promoting the sport within the community. Active collaboration with other coaches and the broader club team is expected.
Qualifications
* Experience in cricket coaching and player development
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills, especially with young athletes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to plan, execute, and assess coaching sessions
* Flexibility to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
* Knowledge of safeguarding policies and commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive environment
* Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., ECB coaching certificates) are beneficial
* Experience in women's cricket or youth development programs is an advantage
