Overview
This role is for 15 hours per week with a pro rata salary of £9,855 per annum. East Kent Colleges Group are seeking a Housekeeper to join Folkestone College. Working hours: 05:30am to 8:30am. We are seeking to appoint a positive, proactive and efficient Housekeeper to join us. You will work in a team or individually and perform an array of cleaning tasks including using machinery and to ensure we maintain a safe and secure environment for our students, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
* Clean the college's buildings and grounds.
* Perform an array of cleaning tasks including using machinery.
* Work to maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors.
* Work in a team or independently and be able to learn quickly to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines and procedures (previous experience in health and safety would be an advantage).
Qualifications and experience
* Previous experience of cleaning in a commercial environment or the ability to learn quickly and maintain high standards of cleanliness (preferred).
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Some technology/computer experience would be an advantage.
