Job Title: Fostering Engagement Social Worker - Midlands and South West
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Fostering Engagement Social Worker to join our service in the Midlands and South West. The role involves developing our Fostering Service in the region by recruiting and assessing new Foster Carers and supporting their professional development.
The post requires creativity, flexibility, and the ability to travel within the service area to plan and deliver recruitment events, expanding our Foster Carer capacity to provide high-quality placements for children.
You will work under the supervision of the Operations Manager for Service Development and the local Fostering Service Manager, who will support you in growing our service footprint across the region.
Candidates should have experience working within a Fostering environment, either with an IFA or in the Local Authority, with a proven track record of completing Initial Home Visits, Form F Assessments within timescales, and presenting at panel. This role does not include case-holding responsibilities.
We seek a flexible, creative, and dynamic individual capable of researching and facilitating various recruitment opportunities.
This role offers a chance to contribute to increasing high-quality foster placements for children in need of care, addressing the current shortfall of foster families.
