Overview:
We are seeking a cheerful, welcoming, conscientious Nursing Home Receptionist, to work weekends only. Working hours will be 9am - 3pm.
To oversee the daily administration and co-ordination of support to the home. The ideal candidate will be proficient and efficient in the use of basic technology, like web portals and Microsoft Office tools e.g Powerpoint, Word and Excel.
Reception Responsibilities:
* Welcoming visitors and checking credentials for trades and unknown callers.
* Answering incoming calls. Directing calls and taking messages.
* Taking and directing deliveries to the home.
* Acting as a liason between members of staff, residents, relatives, contractors and external visitors.
Office Administration Responsibilities:
* Promptly answering all correspondence received.
* Serving as main point of contact.
* Maintaining stationery supplies.
* Mailing out brochures when requested.
* Creating forms and charts for all departments.
* Acting as primary liason with IT communications/Wi-Fi/telephones.
* Completing the monthly HR audit.
Management Support Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Manager and Directors with all aspects of administration, including photocopying, filing, printing, laminating, typing and weekly and monthly governance tasks.
* Assist Manager to develop and monitor training plans, policy updates and aspects of staff governance.
* Support the Accounts Manager regarding information for payroll .
* Setting up new staff files, accessing Fusion and uploading information.
* Collecting expenses.
* Supporting with Overseas Sponsorship Licences, NHS capacity tracker, management of GDPR.
* Updating the monthly occupancy spreadsheet
Care Administration Responsibilities:
* Logging and following up on enquiries.
* Assisting with viewings of potential new residents.
* Providing new residents with a Welcome Pack/Contract Pack on admission.
* Ensuring new Resident Contracts are signed.
* Sending out correspondence.
* Event promotion.
* Assisting the Activities Co-Ordinator in booking and re-booking activities.
