Mathematics Teacher – Key Responsibilities
As the school’s full-time Maths Teacher, you will:
Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 may be available if suited)
Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Use assessment to monitor and support pupil progress
Support learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
Work closely with the Maths Department and Teaching Assistants
Contribute to the wider school community and pastoral duties
Mathematics Teacher – Requirements
You will need:
QTS or PGCE in Mathematics
Experience teaching in a UK secondary school
Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
A genuine passion for teaching Maths
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A commitment to raising standards and helping pupils progress
