To provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a nursing home setting, ensuring their clinical, emotional, and social needs are met while upholding the highest professional and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate personalised care plans for residents.
* Administer medication and treatments in line with NMC guidelines and nursing home policies.
* Monitor residents health and respond promptly to changes in condition.
* Lead, mentor, and supervise care staff to maintain high standards of care.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
* Liaise with residents families, GPs, and healthcare professionals.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety regulations.
Requirements:
* NMC registration as RGN or RMN.
* Previous nursing experience, ideally in a care or nursing home setting.
* Strong clinical and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Empathetic and resident-focused approach to care.
