Job Title: Project Architect
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Aztrum is delighted to be representing a planning-led multidisciplinary practice with expertise in architecture, planning, and urban design, who are currently seeking a Project Architect to join their collaborative and forward-thinking team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to people-centric projects that span sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and heritage. As a Project Architect at WWA, you will play a central role in delivering design-led solutions informed by a deep understanding of planning policy and sustainability. Working within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, you’ll take projects from concept to completion, helping to shape the built environment while honouring our heritage and championing low-energy design.
Key Responsibilities for this Project Architect role:
Lead the architectural design and delivery of projects across a diverse range of sectors.
Develop coordinated technical designs using Revit (proficiency essential).
Collaborate closely with planners, urban designers, consultants, and clients.
Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, planning policy, and sustainability targets.
Guide projects through the planning system with clarity, insight, and strategic thinking.
Manage timeframes, budgets, and team contributions to deliver high-quality, buildable solutions.
Key Requirements for this Project Architect role:
A degree in Architecture and ARB registration.
Strong design capability, with a keen interest in people-focused, sustainable architecture.
Demonstrated experience delivering projects from planning through to completion.
Advanced Revit skills and understanding of BIM workflows.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities within multidisciplinary teams.
A proactive and organised approach with a passion for planning-led design.
