HGV Class 2 Driver, everything else this role needs you to do requires no experience at all, as full training will be provided.
What we need from you to apply for this role: Class 2 Driving Licence
required (to be able to drive tankers) You must live within a 20-minute drive to the main office You must be willing to have DBS and enhanced Police Check Willing to undergo training as required for this role Able to work on your own and as part of a team while supporting other operatives or engineers You can confidently carry out daily and weekly maintenance checks on your vehicles and equipment to ensure all is fully operational The job entails manual labour, so you will need to be physically fit What the role involves: You will be operating a drain and sewer cleaning vehicle and machinery, working across commercial and industrial sectors as well as residential properties.
Other duties include: Carrying out both emergency and planned works in drain cleaning and cleansing including emptying of septic tanks and interceptors Working with other engineers as required to aid in other drainage tasks Operating a van pack jetting unit as required
Salary:
£30,000
- £38,000 per year + overtime and on-call bonus. Working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday. Overtime and weekend work is also available. Core hours are
7.30am
4.30pm (Some flexibility is required on start/finish times). On-call rota
1 week in 4 (Monday - Friday). You will also be required to be on call for either a Saturday or Sunday once every 4 weeks. Bank Holidays are also worked on a rota basis.
