Key Responsibilities
1. Support teachers in preparing and delivering engaging classroom activities.
2. Provide one-to-one support for students with additional needs or learning difficulties.
3. Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
4. Encourage students to stay focused, motivated, and involved in lessons.
5. Give feedback to teachers on student progress and any challenges.
6. Prepare lesson resources and classroom materials.
7. Supervise pupils during break times and school activities.
8. Promote inclusion, confidence, and positive behaviour across the school day.
Essential Skills & Experience
9. Previous experience working with children or within an educational setting.
10. Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
11. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
12. Patient, caring, and supportive approach.
13. Proactive attitude with good problem-solving skills.
14. Genuine interest in child development and education.
15. Able to work well as part of a team.
16. Flexible and adaptable to meet changing classroom needs.
