If so, due to continuing success, we are experiencing rapid and extensive growth in all business sectors, and we are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a successful background in the world of Construction/ M&E.
You will join our Commercial team supporting a variety of projects covering Nottingham area overseeing the QMC- Hospital Project.
You will support financial management of Contracts, in partnership with the Contracts Managers and or Project Managers.
Whatyouwillbedoing:
1. Workinpartnershipwithsitemanagement,commerciallysupportingsitesasrequired,todevelopaproactivesiteteam.Ensuringthatcontractualobligationsareidentifiedandadministered.
2. VetcontractdocumentationonreceiptfromClienttoensurecompatibilitywiththeCompanysTenderandsubsequentnegotiations
3. ProduceCommercialRiskRegisterforeachcontract.Monitorriskandassistinimplementationofagreedmitigationmeasures
4. PrepareandissueenquiriesforMajorPlant&EquipmentandSub-Contractpackages.Vetquotationscommerciallyandnegotiatepriceandtermswithvendors.IssueresultantPurchaseOrders
5. PrepareandsubmitApplicationsforPaymentand/orInvoices,obtainPaymentCertificatesandprogressClientPaymentsinaccordancewithcontractualprovisions
