In this role you will be part of one of the largest global Defence Aerospace programmes, responsible for leading the Sustainment and Aftermarket Programme in support of our UK customer as well as UK External Supply Chain requirements in support of manufacturing and production.
What you will be doing:
* Responsible for the successful delivery of UK Sustainment contracts, providing spares, fleet support and on-site capability for our UK customer, acting as the primary UK focal point into the overall LiftSystem aftermarket strategy.
* Responsible for ensuring external UK Supply Chain Requirements are met in support of UK domestic manufacture and US production requirements for the LiftSystem programme.
* Leading programme governance, ensuring programme leads and controllers conduct analysis of Earned Value Management System data to enable critical decision making and adherence to FAR15 contractual requirements.
* Leading new bids and proposals for the UK Plc team and in support of the overall LiftSystem new business development strategy, integrating with multiple internal and external stakeholders as required
Position qualifications:
* Qualified to degree level or equivalent industry experience.
* Member of a professional body and working towards APM PMQ qualification or equivalent.
Preferred requirements:
* Experience in the management of projects / programmes of increased complexity, with visibility and exposure to senior stakeholders, possessing excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong collaborative relationships.
* Experience in multiple stages of a product life cycle and has been responsible for the delivery of one or more of those stages.
* Exposure to purchasing, commercial, engineering management, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
* Experience in FAR15 and Earned Value Reporting requirements
