The Treasury Technology team will be based across India and UK, part of a wider Finance systems engineering team. You will be joining the UK team where you will focus on enhancing the treasury system with a wider roadmap for developing alongside the strategic solution of Findur. The India team will focus on maintaining and running the current solutions in place.
In this role, you will work independently on engineering and service tasks. You will have knowledge of specific systems and domains, being responsible for the entire configuration and support processes for that specialism. You will take responsibility for delivering quality solutions and services for colleagues and customers, saving time, effort, or money and/or defining normal. You’ll exhibit expertise and practical knowledge of types of systems and applications used within the Tesco business environment with an understanding of the infrastructure and integrations to connect them. You would also need to know the latest technology trends and maintain knowledge of any changes within the market.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform a leading role in key system projects including major system and infrastructure changes, such as upgrades and change programmes.
2. Subject matter expert for the Treasury system and interfaces on all relevant projects and change initiatives, ensuring that all functional and system requirements are considered during specification and implementation.
3. Come up with various solutions on infrastructure and applications.
4. Provide specialist level configuration and functional knowledge in designing Treasury solutions within Treasury Management System.
5. Ensure projects impacting Treasury systems are performed appropriately, including testing, data validation, and end-to-end process simulation.
6. Maintain and execute change requests considering business requirements, developing solutions, testing, deployment, and following Tesco change processes.
7. Experience with code repositories like GitHub and ticketing tools like Jira.
8. Understanding of project methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, etc.
9. Assist Front, Middle, and Back Office teams with Findur issues, analyze system issues, and take corrective actions.
10. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for system architecture and troubleshooting activities.
11. Test End of Day (EoD) processes, review logs, and monitor scheduled jobs through change management processes.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of configuration and data structure of Openlink Findur/Endur Treasury Management System. Experience in Findur is a significant advantage.
* Hands-on experience with financial instruments like Cash, Foreign Exchange, Bonds, and Loans.
* Experience with Openlink Findur modules such as Trading Explorer, Referential Data, Market Manager, and others.
* Experience in large-scale system projects like upgrades and major changes.
* Ability to analyze, debug, and resolve application/system issues.
* Understanding of system architecture layers.
* Ability to customize Openlink Findur using AVS, JVS, and MS SQL Server.
* Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with teams and vendors.
* Understanding of business requirements, fit-gap analysis, and functional design documentation.
* Identify opportunities to streamline treasury processes.
* Experience with tools like Eclipse and MSSQL Server.
