We're seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Field Support Engineer to join our client's growing team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality on-site and remote IT support across multiple office locations within your assigned area, ensuring swift resolution of hardware and software issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide desk-side and field support for users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
* Perform break-fix repairs on hardware such as laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, and keyboards.
* Diagnose and repair hardware faults to minimize downtime.
* Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
* Travel between different offices within the region as needed to provide support.
* Liaise with internal teams and third-party vendors as required.
* Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of issues, repairs, and assets.
* Deliver excellent customer service and support to all users.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or Desk-side Support roles.
* Hands-on experience with hardware repairs on computers, laptops, printers, monitors, and keyboards.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Good understanding of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking principles.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, with willingness to travel regularly between offices.
