The Role
Lead the implementation of robust security practices, working cross-functionally to safeguard platforms and reduce cyber risk across a diverse technology landscape:
* Provide strategic guidance for secure adoption of SaaS & PaaS platforms across Microsoft, Google, Atlassian and MongoDB Atlas
* Deliver technical consulting to identify misconfigurations and reduce platform risk
* Support secure design and integration across business programmes, including access and configuration reviews
* Contribute to platform security standards, policies, and best practices
* Support integration of security into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions)
Skills
* Strong understanding of Identity & Access Security (least privilege, Zero Trust, SSO, JWT, RBAC/ABAC/PBAC)
* Solid grasp of security architecture, particularly for APIs and databases
* Knowledge of platform security, monitoring, response, and governance
* Experience with scripting (Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
* Awareness of common threats (DDoS, brute force, exfiltration, spoofing etc.)
* Hands-on experience in platform or infrastructure security
