The post holder will work with the Training team to develop and deliver IT training courses to end users (customers) as part of a comprehensive programme of high quality, relevant training to users of the Trust’s IT systems.
The post holder will also support in the production of training videos and e-learning materials in relation to IT training. One of the post holder’s responsibilities will be to design, develop, edit and roll out high quality e-Learning/multimedia courses for staff within the Trust. These resources will be hosted on the Trust’s online learning management system which the post holder will be responsible for maintaining their area of. They will also liaise with staff to ensure they maximise their use of immersive learning. The post holder will be involved in all stages of the development of immersive learning working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to develop engaging learning experiences using a range of tools such as image editing and audio/video creation in line with learner’s needs.
While the post is primarily based at Royal Hampshire County Hospital, the post-holder will be required to provide cross-site cover on HHFT locations (specifically Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital and Andover War Memorial Hospital) for training needs.
Main duties of the job
Deliver training courses to agreed quality in a variety of ways (e.g. instructor-led, e-learning, cascade training etc.)
To identify training needs, maintain efficient record keeping and staff training booking systems and schedule courses ensuring that training is achieved to agreed deadlines and is cost effective
To provide administrative function to the IT training team including answering inbox and telephone queries
To support the Trust’s IT Strategy by ensuring relevant training is provided to all appropriate Trust staff
To provide post implementation support at user sites where necessary
To support new system developments and incorporate into training regime as required
To work with SMEs, trainers and staff in divisions to highlight opportunities where immersive learning tools and learning can enhance or support the delivery of existing educational programmes

Training & Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Degree in relevant subject (IT, Media Studies etc) or equivalent experience
2. GCSE or equivalent grade A*-C in Maths and English as a minimum
3. Registered teaching qualification (e.g. PTTLS)
4. Previous training on the following software: Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative or VR creation software
Desirable criteria
5. Evidence of continued personal development
Experience & Knowledge
Essential criteria
6. IT Systems training experience
7. Demonstrable experience of developing e-learning/immersive learning mediums
8. Broad knowledge of MS software applications including Outlook, Excel, Internet and Databases
9. To be working in a similar role

10. Experience using Electronic Patient Record (EPR), Patient Administration Systems (PAS) and e-Prescribing applications
11. Experience of the NHS
