Accounts Assistant North Devon Salary up to £28k Permanent Role Summary: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Dept. This role involves credit control, processing invoices, expenses, and customer account management, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of Credit Control Input of purchase invoices Dealing with supplier and invoices queries via email and telephone Monthly supplier statements reconciliation Collaborate with Sales and Credit teams Maintain vendor and customer databases Process employees expenses Prepare financial reports and support monthly account reviews Required Qualifications: Previous experience in a Finance position AAT qualification essential GCSE's in English and Maths essential Proficiency in accounting systems, Microsoft Excel and Word; ERP experience preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet timelines Problem solving and planning VAT experience desirable Manage workload with an ability to work to strict deadlines Confident communicator
