Job Duties of the HGV Class 1 Driver:
1. Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
2. May, on occasion be driving a HGV Class 2 (same Rates).
3. Ensuring vehicles are clean and well maintained.
4. Secure loads and ensure safe to travel due to the nature of the product.
5. Delivery to RDC's and DC's - mostly unloaded but on occasion you will need to unload yourself on to the goods in area.
6. Liaise with the transport office teams with updates while out on the road.
