Contract: Full-time | Initial 3–6 months with potential for extension
A local authority located in North East London is looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a well structured team.

Main Duties:
1. Experience required working with Adults
2. Reviewing care packages and provision of moving and handling equipment.
3. Complete Care Act assessments
4. Conduct community assessments in a local authority setting, identifying needs and recommending both standard and specialist equipment.
5. Plan and facilitate minor and major adaptations to enhance safety and functionality within clients’ homes.
6. Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to create individualized support plans
7. Assess individuals and carers with complex needs in the home environment
8. Recommend and coordinate equipment and adaptations
9. Undertake manual handling assessments
10. Work in line with safeguarding procedures, promoting dignity and respect
Requirements:
11. Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience
12. Previous experience as a community-based Occupational Therapist
13. Manual handling expertise
14. HCPC Registration
15. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist)
16. Eligibility to work in the UK
17. Must have own vehicle and full UK driving licence
