Salary £40,778 - £46,142 per annum | 37 hours per week | Permanent, Full time | LD&A Transitions Service | Central, Lancashire
We're looking for a Senior Social Worker to join our Transitions Team - professionals who bring empathy, creativity, and a strong commitment to supporting young people as they move into adulthood. You'll play a key role in helping individuals live as independently as possible, in a place they call home.
About the Role
As a Senior Social Worker, you'll provide professional leadership and support to colleagues, while managing a complex caseload. You'll work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, community services, carers, and the people we support to co-produce outcomes that reflect individual strengths and aspirations.
Our Transitions Team operates countywide, but we aim to accommodate preferences for working in North, East, or Central Lancashire wherever possible.
Responsibilities
* Provide professional leadership and support to colleagues while managing a complex caseload.
* Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, community services, carers, and service users to co-produce outcomes that reflect individual strengths and aspirations.
* Work with the Transitions Team across countywide locations in line with preferred working areas where possible.
Qualifications
* Social Work England (SWE) registration to be appointed as a Social Worker, or current application to register with SWE.
* Post-qualification experience in a social work or related field, with ability to manage a complex caseload.
