We’re looking for an Associate Director to join our specialist Qualitative team. You’ll have several years\' qualitative experience and be a capable moderator and manager. If you haven’t worked in R&D research before, that’s not a problem as we’ll give you all the training you need. Whatever your background, you’ll be commercially focused, adept at building strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and transforming them into top class research methods and outcomes. The work we do lies behind the taste, look, formulation packaging and promotion of brands we all use and buy every day.
Responsibilities
* Develop relationships with new and existing clients, win business and lead multiple projects, with overall accountability for your own targets.
* Coach and mentor junior team members, adding value at key stages, while also conducting fieldwork, which may involve travel as we work across the UK and internationally.
* Oversee and conduct qualitative moderation, workshops and co-creation sessions, both in the UK and internationally.
* Have a key commercial role, and financial targets; be accountable for key client relationships and high-quality outputs of multiple complex projects.
About you
You're fascinated by people and why they behave and think the way they do. You're curious, creative, keen to learn, and passionate about developing new ideas and running with them. You love a challenge and thrive on working in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
* Several years' relevant work experience in qualitative market research, with demonstrated commercial thinking.
* Ability to be proactive, personable, tenacious, organised, and detail oriented.
* Based in the UK and able to travel to the Leeds office on a regular basis.
Job details
* Job Type: Full-time
* Schedule: 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
* Salary: £49k+ per year (based on experience)
* Education: A degree in a relevant field (e.g. social sciences, marketing, business) can be helpful, but is not essential; diverse backgrounds and relevant skills are welcomed.
* Ability to commute/relocate: Leeds, LS15 8GB – reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
