Mariners United Sporting Club CIC (MUSC CIC) is a community-focused organisation based in the North East of England, dedicated to empowering communities through sport, education, enterprise, and social innovation.
Working in partnership with Hartlepool Indo-Malayalee Association (HIMA CIO), a registered charity promoting cultural integration, wellbeing, leadership, and community cohesion, we are delivering the Women Enterprise Growth Initiative (WEGI).
WEGI is a women-led programme designed to support women through:
* Enterprise and entrepreneurship
* Confidence building
* Cultural integration and community collaboration
* Networking and peer support
The coordinator will be responsible for organising and coordinating:
* Coordinate day-to-day delivery of WEGI activities
* Organise programme schedules, meetings, and events
* Support participant engagement and communication
* Coordinate webinars, online learning sessions, and workshops
* Organise in-person conferences, networking events, and leadership activities
* Coordinate venues, logistics, materials, and speakers
Speaker & Partnership Engagement
* Identify and contact successful women entrepreneurs, business leaders, and professionals across the North East
* Coordinate guest speakers and lived-experience sessions
* Develop partnerships with organisations, universities, businesses, and community groups
Community Engagement & Outreach
* Support recruitment and retention of participants
* Build relationships with local partners and stakeholders
Marketing & Communications
* Assist with social media content and promotional activity
* Help gather stories, testimonials, and programme impact
* Support newsletters and programme communications
Monitoring & Reporting
* Maintain attendance and engagement records
* Collect participant feedback and outcome data
* Support project evaluation and reporting requirements
This is a hybrid role based in Hartlepool, with flexibility for some home working alongside attendance at meetings, events, and programme activities. The initiative brings together women from diverse backgrounds across Hartlepool to create opportunities for growth, shared learning, leadership, and meaningful social and economic participation.
