About The Role
Ashford College, part of the East Kent Colleges Group, is seeking to appoint an English Supply Lecturer to their approved staffing list.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach, train and assess students in the subject specialism(s).
* Ensure a high-quality learning experience.
* Provide support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential.
Supply Lecturers are paid £18 per hour worked; planning and admin work may be claimed at a further half hour per hour of teaching. The total rate for a typical day of 5 hours teaching with 2.5 hours of planning and admin is £140.
About You
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, creative and able to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons with demonstrated interpersonal skills. Assessing and tracking student progress to plan interventions is a vital part of the role and ensuring all students develop the skills they need to succeed.
The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of designated study programs or courses from Level 1 up to Level 3 and will be able to motivate learners to achieve and succeed on their programmes of study.
