Electro-mechanical maintenance technician

Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician needed for our Stoke on Trent based client.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of both mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing and production environment.


Required skills & Qualifications:

1. Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:Identify root causes of failures across a range of mechanical machinery (gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics) and electrical (3-phase power, PLCs, sensors) systems.
2. Technical Skills:Proficiency in using hand and power tools (Lathes, grinders, welding equipment)
3. Digital Literacy:Ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) software and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
4. Installation & Commissioning:Assist in the setup and testing of new industrial systems, machinery and production lines.
5. Technical Proficiency:Good knowledge of mechanical drive systems, pneumatic, and electrical circuits (e.g, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
6. Automation Skills: Experience with programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
