Role Overview: Business Development Manager (BDM)
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be instrumental in transforming new contacts into clients, overseeing a seamless onboarding process, and delivering customised solutions tailored to clients’ economic, political, and regulatory contexts. This role focuses on driving business growth, fostering client engagement, and managing relationships across key regions such as the UK, BVI, and Cayman Islands.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop new client relationships and nurture existing ones to strengthen engagement.
* Facilitate the onboarding and documentation process while ensuring compliance with KYC regulations.
* Articulate the company’s fiduciary products and highlight competitive advantages.
* Conduct research, pursue leads, and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
* Stay informed on industry trends, corporate legislation, and competitor activities.
* Negotiate client agreements in alignment with compliance standards and service quality expectations.
* Support various projects and contribute to strategic business development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in law, accounting, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience with private wealth and offshore corporate structures.
* Comprehensive knowledge of UK, BVI, and Cayman Islands regulatory and compliance frameworks.
* Expertise in managing multi-jurisdictional proposals and complex business transactions.
* Exceptional communication skills, with additional language proficiency as a plus.
* Established industry network and strong client-facing experience.
* Willingness to travel and capability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
