ABOUT THE ROLE
Augnito is in growth mode, and currently looking for an SEO Specialist to work with our Product Team to oversee our overall organic and paid search performance. As an SEO Specialist you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our SEO strategy which includes understanding the Buyer’s persona, building On-Page, Off-Page and Technical SEO, building backlinks, analyse SEO campaign performance and recommend actionable strategies to improve SEO rankings. Your goal will be to improve rankings, impressions, clicks and conversions. You will be managing all SEO/SEM campaigns to maximise ROI. As our online presence is extremely important for the success of business, your position will play a huge role in driving our business growth and success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Identify our buyer persona to better target identified audiences
* Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
* Manage SEO-related assets, tools/platforms including Google My Business, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs, Semrush, Majestic, Screaming Frog, etc.
* Conduct regular technical SEO audits and work with the web development team to fix technical website issues (e.g. slow page load speeds, page crawl errors, tag management, etc.) that may negatively impact organic search rankings
* Perform competitive analysis to benchmark current SEO performance against competitors and devise strategies to surpass competitors
* Setup Marketing Operations and generate reports to present to higher management
* Develop keyword plans through conducting keyword research on a regular basis to generate content ideas and optimize existing content
* Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
* Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
* Execute link building campaigns through the creation and promotion of linkable assets, outreach, and submission-based link building
* Measure key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, ranking positions, domain authority, conversion and conversion rates, engagement metrics such as dwell time and organic return visits and provide recommendations for improvement
* Monitor, analyze and update daily performance metrics to understand SEO and SEM strategy performance
* Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends, search algorithm updates, and new SEO tools and best practices
BASIC QUALIFICATION
* 1-3 years of experience as an SEO professional or similar role for product companies
* Proven experience in planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy
* Solid understanding of performance marketing, marketing operations, and online customer acquisition
* Proven understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
* Proven SEM experience managing paid campaigns in Google
* In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
* In-depth knowledge of research principles and methods and experience in analyzing data
* Familiarity with content management systems
* Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
* Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Passion for SEO and digital marketing

* Experience in working for SaaS companies.

* Experience in setting up Marketing Operations
* Ability to write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions
