University Hospitals Tees is one of the most ambitious hospital group partnerships in the NHS, bringing together North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Serving a population of around 1.85 million people, our hospitals deliver care across multiple acute sites alongside extensive community and specialist services. Together, our teams of more than 14,000 staff provide world‑class services including a Major Trauma Centre, Regional Cancer Centre and a wide range of tertiary specialties.
NTH Solutions LLP is a key part of this model. As a subsidiary organisation, it delivers a broad portfolio of estates, facilities, procurement and support services that underpin the delivery of high‑quality patient care across the group. Its remit spans operational estates, capital development, facilities management, domestic and catering services, portering and supply chain functions.
As we continue to develop our hospital group model and strengthen the role of NTH Solutions, we are now seeking an exceptional Managing Director to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth and innovation.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a complex and commercially focused organisation within the NHS, with the autonomy to shape strategy, drive service development and expand its impact both within the Trust and across the wider health and care system.
Reporting to the NTH Solutions Chair and working closely with senior leaders across University Hospitals Tees, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of services, ensuring delivery is efficient, sustainable and aligned to the Group’s priorities.
Beyond operational delivery, the role offers the opportunity to drive innovation, develop new service lines and strengthen partnerships across the region, positioning NTH Solutions as a leading provider of high‑quality healthcare support services.
