Job Title: Logistics Manager (maternity cover)
Reporting to: Director of IT & Operations
Role Overview:
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the entire international supply chain, from production and distribution to wholesalers, retailers, our Flagship Store, and E-commerce. The role involves coordinating this flow effectively on a strategic and daily basis, ensuring timely delivery of the right products at optimal costs. The manager will also oversee third-party logistics and freight orders.
Key Accountabilities:
* Build successful relationships with warehouses both in person and remotely.
* Ensure data accuracy regarding stock and flows.
* Manage relationships effectively internally and externally.
* Work proactively with executives to translate supply chain strategies and address obstacles.
* Develop new supply chain contracts, understand logistic flows and customs regulations to deliver comprehensive logistics strategies.
* Understand customs/duty taxes implications on the supply chain and provide solutions.
* Manage IT systems to control stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
* Use IT systems to coordinate the order cycle and evaluate performance for improvements.
* Allocate and manage resources according to changing needs.
* Develop business by acquiring new contracts, analyzing logistical problems, and producing solutions.
* Collaborate with teams to improve operational flows.
* Continuously seek to improve business performance within legislative, fuel, and environmental constraints.
* Manage staff training and motivation.
* Plan and manage projects, providing consultancy as needed.
Skills & Experience:
* 5+ years’ experience in logistics or related fields.
* A degree in business, computing, distribution, or management is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, across all organizational levels.
* Logical, systematic approach to work.
* Problem-solving, decision-making, lateral thinking, and creative solutions.
* Commercial awareness and numeracy skills.
* IT literacy, system integration, and information flow management.
* Ability to manage change effectively.
* Strong interpersonal skills, team collaboration, and negotiation skills.
* Highly analytical and resilient in fast-paced environments.
