What You'll Be Doing
* Leading the mechanical engineering delivery activities, providing technical oversight from design through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
* Managing and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating closely with project managers, planners, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure successful project delivery.
* Reviewing complex mechanical designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
* Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring all mechanical works comply with health and safety legislation and company standards.
* Identifying and implementing innovative engineering solutions, best practices, and continuous improvements.
* Supporting project close‑out processes, including quality assurance and documentation handover.
What We're Looking For
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline, with substantial experience in mechanical engineering delivery on large‑scale projects.
* Proven experience working on highly regulated sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, or high‑tech manufacturing projects.
* Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams.
* In‑depth knowledge of mechanical systems, installation methods, and commissioning best practices.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.
* A proactive and solutions‑oriented approach, comfortable working in a fast‑paced, technically demanding environment.
